Over 550 years ago, the first pilgrims stayed at the Haus zum Kindli. This was first recorded by the Saxon pilgrim Hans von Waltheym in 1474. In his travelogue, the Kindli on Pfalzgasse is mentioned for the first time as an upscale pilgrim hostel. This past brings with it a sense of responsibility, and even today, the Kindli remains a welcoming house for guests who find a small piece of home here, where they can feel comfortable and a sense of belonging for a short time.
