Galerie Gmurzynska

Since 1965 and over three generations, Galerie Gmurzynska has focused on the art of the 20th century. Not only through important exhibitions of museum quality, but also through art historical research and publications of art historical importance that accompany the exhibitions.
The estates managed by Gmurzynska include Wifredo Lams and Roberto Mattas as well as artists such as Joan Miró and Yves Klein.
The location on Paradeplatz is of particular importance: the Dadaists first exhibited their works in the former Galerie Dada in the same block in 1917. Zaha Hadid designed the interior of the gallery in 2016, which was inspired by the Dada pioneers.
